In love with an idea.

I wanted so badly to love you, for you to love me. I didnt want to be your world, just one of your favorite parts of it. But I see know how that can never be and i'm fine with that result. After all is said and done and all the pain has been felt and tears ran down cheeks I sit here and think to myself, Maybe i didn't love you like i thought i had maybe i loved the idea of being in love with you. I put these thoughts to rest now and i guess i'll never know
